Home prices continued to increase at a slower pace in June, with the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller 20-city home price index registering only a 2.1% price increase from a year earlier. That marks the slowest growth since 2012. A year ago, home prices were rising by 6.3% but 2019 has seen a marked deceleration of prices. On a monthly basis, the index was immobile, with no change in price growth since May.
